    Removing All Programs Through Group Policy

    This method is available on Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate.

    1. Press the button Windows + R.
    2. Type gpedit.msc, then press Enter .
    3. Open the following menu:

    User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar

    1. Look for the Remove All Programs list from the Start menu setting .
    2. Double click on the setting.
    3. Select Enabled .
    4. Click Apply , then OK .
    5. Sign out of your Windows account or restart your computer.

    After the settings are applied, the All Programs menu will no longer appear in the Start Menu.

    To display the All Programs menu again , change the Group Policy setting to Not Configured .
