Adobe recently released an emergency security update. This action was taken to patch a maximum-severity vulnerability (bug) in Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC). ACC itself is an enterprise-focused marketing automation platform.
This most critical flaw is tracked as CVE-2026-48449. Surprisingly, this bug received a CVSS score of 10.0, which is the highest danger level. This bug is highly dangerous because hackers can remotely execute code right away. Furthermore, they do not need any interaction from the user at all.
In addition, this update also fixes an SQL injection flaw (CVE-2026-48448) that has a CVSS score of 8.6. This second flaw could potentially be exploited by hackers to steal or arbitrarily read system files. However, do not worry, both bugs have been officially patched in the ACC v7: 7.4.3 build 9398 release for Windows and Linux.
Additional Fixes in Adobe Bridge
Next, Adobe apparently did not only fix ACC. They also released patches for eight critical security flaws in the Adobe Bridge application. These bugs are very risky as they can trigger privilege escalation to malicious code execution.
So far, Adobe has not found any reports of active exploitation in the wild. Even so, all users are strongly advised to immediately update their software to the latest version to maintain security.
